Job description

Opportunity:
Propel Schools is seeking a Head Middle School Girls Volleyball Coach for the 2026-2027 season at the following middle schools:
  • Propel Braddock Hills Middle School
  • Propel East
  • Propel Hazelwood
  • Propel Homestead
  • Propel McKeesport
  • Propel Montour Middle School
  • Propel Northside
  • Propel Pitcairn

Successful candidates will have:
  • Prior high school, middle school, and/or youth volleyball coaching experience
  • Preferred candidates will have experience as a head coach, playing experience, as well as the demonstrated ability to build a successful program starting at the middle school level
  • Responsibility for assembling his/her volunteer coaching staff
  • Experience coordinating a middle school volleyball program with the assistant coach and athletic director
  • High level of personal organization and planning
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
  • A commitment to the Promising Principles of Propel

Requirements:
  • Up-to-date TB Test
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
  • Act 114 FBI Clearance
  • Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
  • Mandated Reporter Training
