We have a full-time opening for a Bobtail Driver to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Hermiston and surrounding areas. Competitive wages and benefits and $2K Sign-On Bonus!
Essential Functions
  • Proper pre and post trip truck inspections.
  • Safely deliver, load and unload propane into bulk truck and end user tanks.
  • Provide best in class customer service to a wide range of commercial, industrial and residential customers.
  • Safely fill propane tanks of all types and sizes at customer locations.
  • Accurately complete driver logs, pre and post trip forms, invoices, and other paperwork as required.
  • Uphold Department of Transportation safety standards.
  • Maintain communication with dispatchers and immediate manager.
  • Maintain environmental safety requirements at all time.
  • Maintain daily reports, truck and end of day reports as needed.
  • Conduct visual tank inspections, record and notify dispatch of issues.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must hold a Class A or B license with Tank, Hazmat, and Air Brake endorsements.
  • Hold a D.O.T medical certificate.
  • Have a minimum of two year's experience driving a tanker or Bobtail truck.
  • Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and smell.
  • Required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, pull up to 40 pounds, overhead lifting up to 40 pounds, maintain balance at heights of up to 20 feet, and withstand road shocks and moderate vibrations associated with driving a commercial vehicle.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and pass drug test and background check.
