Familiarity with trading platforms, algorithmic trading systems, and certifications like CFA or Series 7 can be highly advantageous. It can offer high earning potential and a dynamic work environment but also involves significant risk and performance pressure. Success often depends on strong analytical skills, risk management, and market knowledge.

Prop traders often face high-pressure environments due to the fast-paced nature of financial markets and the need to quickly adapt to changing conditions.
