The Opportunity:
Naviga Recruiting & Executive Search is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications Intern.This is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to a high-impact project focused on elevating our brand presence and strategically positioning Naviga for inclusion in the prestigious Forbes Top Recruiting Firms list in 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in marketing, public relations, and a desire to learn about the executive search industry, with a particular focus on leveraging digital platforms for community engagement and outreach.

  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth research on the Forbes Top Recruiting Firms methodology, criteria, and past honorees.
    • Analyze competitors and industry best practices in marketing and brand positioning for executive search firms.
    • Identify key trends and opportunities to enhance Naviga's brand visibility and reputation.
  • "Vote for Us" Campaign Management:
    • Support the planning and execution of a strategic campaign to encourage our network to vote for Naviga for the Forbes Top Recruiting Firms list.
    • Utilize our CRM system (Bullhorn) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) distribution lists to identify and segment contacts for targeted outreach.
    • Draft compelling email content and social media posts to motivate our network (clients, candidates, partners) to participate in the voting process.
    • Monitor campaign performance and report on key metrics.
  • Content Development & Support:
    • Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, press releases, case studies, and social media updates.
    • Support the creation of compelling narratives that highlight Naviga's unique value proposition, success stories, and industry expertise.
    • Help develop and organize internal resources and data points relevant to Forbes submission requirements.
  • Social Media & Digital Presence:
    • Assist in managing and scheduling content for Naviga's social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) with a focus on engaging our target audience and promoting brand authority.
    • Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for increased engagement, particularly around the Forbes voting initiative.
    • Support website updates and ensure content is fresh, accurate, and SEO-friendly.
  • Public Relations & Outreach:
    • Assist in identifying media opportunities and relevant industry publications for potential features or thought leadership contributions.
    • Support the development of media lists and outreach strategies.
  • Project Management & Coordination:
    • Help organize and maintain marketing collateral and research documents.
    • Assist with various administrative tasks related to the Forbes initiative and overall marketing efforts.
    • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new marketing campaigns and strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and an understanding of their use in a professional context.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information effectively.
