Job Description:
Cross-functional understanding of email operations, security practices, and the user experience
• Experience and knowledge operating email security technologies in large enterprises such as Cisco IronPorts, Agari Anti Phishing and Brand Defense, Proofpoint, Mimecast, etc.
• Ability to understand, propose and implement creative solutions to eliminate malicious (e.g., phishing) and unwanted email (e.g., spam, "graymail")
• Knowledge and experience in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with Microsoft Exchange Online, hybrid Exchange environments, Client connectivity (On-prem and cloud), related Exchange components, technologies, and services related to the M365 suite of products.
• Understanding and Implementing DKIM, DMARC, SPF, and email filtering services
• Experience with migration of Exchange customers to Office 365, end-to-end support & troubleshooting experience of Exchange Online and Office 365 Hybrid solutions.
• Provide direct support to end-users ranging from Tier 1-3 type issues, with command of general workstation support functions related to Outlook and email as a service.
• Expertise in coordination and escalation to Microsoft support and ability to coordinate with first- and third-party software vendors as needed for the resolution of business-impacting problems.
• Experience with ITIL methodologies and using ServiceNow for incident management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience working with email security technology.
• Understanding of email security with Exchange Online
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently with minimal direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience collaborating with diverse technology teams to achieve business results
Preferred Qualifications
• Specific experience with Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection
