SUMMARY: The Service Department Intern will assist with daily business activities while gaining hands-on experience in parts inventory, customer service, ride-a longs, marketing, and basic equipment preparation and maintenance. This internship is designed to introduce students to the agricultural and heavy equipment industry through real-world learning opportunities in both office and shop environments.
The intern will work alongside experienced team members to support daily operations, observe field and branch activities through supervised ride-a longs, assist with equipment readiness, and develop professional workplace skills in a structured and supervised environment at the assigned branch location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations:
- Assist with cleaning, organizing, and preparing tractors and equipment for rental.
- Support basic shop and maintenance activities under staff supervision.
- Help organize, stock, and track parts inventory and supplies.
- Assist with marketing activities, including social media content, equipment photos, and promotional materials.
- Greet customers and provide general office and customer service support.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, office, and yard areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with mechanics, office staff, and management.
- Perform general operational support duties as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
- Currently enrolled in high school.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Interest in agriculture, equipment, mechanics, marketing, or business operations preferred.
- Must provide and maintain a valid school work permit.
