  • Provides oversight of communications for promotional efforts for guests, team members, and regulatory agencies.
  • Develops and coordinates all aspects of each special event from conception to implementation and assists in conducting on-site promotions.
  • Prepares prize schedules for events in accordance with the event budget.
  • Coordinates ordering of all gifts, decor, prizes and collateral material needed for events.
  • Prepares various reports to assist in post event analysis and compiles monthly forecast and maintains budget.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions, events and special offers throughout the property.
  • Responsible for supervising and managing staff in Promotions Department: Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives in defined area.
  • Creates effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
  • Maintains exceptional knowledge of the market
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
  • Enhances guest interactions by providing a friendly greeting, offering directions, answering questions, making announcements, and creating an upbeat and positive atmosphere.
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 3-5 years in progressively more challenging roles in marketing, with at least one year with responsibility for event planning.
  • Two years' experience managing teams or business units.
  • Familiarity with player tracking software required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to understand and analyze Budget and P&L Statements.
  • Proven managerial and critical thinking skills required.
  • Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
