    • Position Summary
    • Temporary hourly-intermittent bridge student assistant position available in Communication Studies.
    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after June 15, 2026 and ending on or before August 31, 2026.  Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Coordinate community engagement activities for KCSS Radio Station including live music for Warrior Wednesday and other campus events.
      • Provide public relations and promotional support for the KCSS student management team.
      • Attend regular KCSS staff meetings.
      • Develop and maintain the KCSS Website and Social Media channels.
      • Other duties as assigned.
    • Qualifications
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Working knowledge of alternative music formats.
      • Demonstrates the willingness to commit to employment through May 31, 2027.
      • Demonstrates working knowledge of the operation of a college radio station, some management, and non-commercial radio experience.
      • Demonstrates completion of one semester of COMM 3112.
      • Demonstrates effective organizational and communication skills.
      • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office.
      • Demonstrates prior experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

    • $16.90 per hour.
