THE WORK:
  • You'll serve as a daytoday point of coordination for water and wastewater clients.
  • You'll participate in client meetings, workshops, and executive briefings.
  • You'll support the development of presentations, decision materials, and client communications.
  • You'll help translate technical and financial concepts into clear, clientready messaging.
  • You'll build and maintain relationships within the Texas water and wastewater community, including utilities, authorities, and industry groups.
  • You'll support execution of infrastructure programs with a focus on scope, schedule, and risk-rather than design production.
  • You'll assist with identifying project risks, data gaps, and dependencies that influence delivery and pricing.
  • You'll support development of feasibility efforts, work plans, and delivery strategies.
  • You'll contribute to alignment across engineering, financial, and procurement workstreams.
  • You'll help ensure projects remain defensible, structured, and aligned with client governance expectations.
  • You'll support pursuit efforts, including proposal development, scope definition, and pricing inputs.
  • You'll assist with pipeline tracking, client outreach, and opportunity identification.
  • You'll participate in industry events, conferences, and client engagement activities.
  • You'll help position Accenture as a trusted advisor in the Texas water market.
  • You'll contribute to expanding relationships with utilities, regional authorities, and funding entities.
  • You'll utilize Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) to develop structured work plans and tracking tools.
  • You'll build executivelevel presentations and decision materials using Microsoft applications.
  • You'll coordinate internal and external teams through organized collaboration tools.
  • You'll maintain organized project documentation and communication flows across Microsoft platforms.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) strongly preferred (Texas or ability to obtain)
  • 3-7 years of experience with an engineering consulting firm or infrastructure-focused organization
  • Experience supporting public-sector or utility (water/wastewater) projects
  • Demonstrated ability in: Client-facing coordination and communication, Project delivery support (scope, schedule, risk-not design production), Working across multiple stakeholders and disciplines
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Experience working with water/wastewater utilities, regional authorities, or capital programs
  • Exposure to public-private partnerships (P3), alternative delivery, or procurement strategy
  • Active participation in industry organizations (e.g., AWWA, WEAT, TWA, etc.)
  • Experience supporting capital planning, CIP development, or advisory efforts
  • Ability to operate in a client-facing role with increasing independence
