Job description

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking to hire an Estimator to join our team in our Springfield, MO office! With minimal supervision, the Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and competitive bids. They will work to support our sales staff, resulting in profitable sales and positive customer relationships. Knowledge and/or experience in the construction or building materials industry is strongly preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Review drawings and specifications to determine amounts and most appropriate product based on specific job requirements to complete the project
  • Collaborate with managers about sale strategies
  • Determine cost of projects based on products and quantity
  • Strong communication with vendors, customers and upper management
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to completion
  • Other duties may be assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Experience with blueprints/plans and Specs highly desired
  • Must have strong attention to detail, and good organizational skills
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills, and excellent customer service skills
  • Possess strong mathematical skills
  • Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
