We are seeking a Procedure Writer with hands-on experience using Hexagon Accelerator KMS e-Procedure to support the development, documentation, and maintenance of high-quality operational procedures. This role will work closely with technical teams, operations, and subject matter experts to ensure procedures are clear, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards.

This is a 6-12-month contract opportunity ideal for someone experienced in technical writing within industrial or engineering environments, particularly those familiar with digital procedure management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, write, and update operational and technical procedures using Hexagon Accelerator KMS e-Procedure
  • Collaborate with engineers, operations personnel, and SMEs to gather accurate process information
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly procedures
  • Ensure all documentation meets internal standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Maintain version control and document management within the KMS system
  • Review and edit existing procedures for clarity, consistency, and compliance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to documentation and knowledge management
  • Assist with implementation and adoption of e-procedure workflows across teams

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Procedure Writer / Technical Writer in an industrial, mining, energy, or engineering environment
  • Hands-on experience with Hexagon Accelerator KMS e-Procedure (strong asset / required depending on role level)
  • Strong understanding of document control and quality management systems
  • Ability to interpret technical/engineering information and translate it into clear procedures
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
  • Experience in mining, heavy industry, or large capital projects
  • Familiarity with ISO standards or regulated environments
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or document management system rollouts
  • Training or change management exposure related to procedure adoption
