Job description

Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for Appl. Portfolio Manager 2 Appl. Portfolio Manager 2 (Overland Park, KS - Onsite) MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure all technology maintenance and end-user support needs for deployed enterprise engineering systems are resolved in a timely manner; driving continuous improvement and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action opportunities as needed.

Define and maintain application & technology roadmaps which ensure deployed solutions are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with vendor lifecycles & the overall portfolio strategy. Partner with business, technical, and software/service providers to translate business & technology needs into potential solutions with costs/benefits analysis, achievable project timelines, and standard deployment architectures. Manage relationships with key software providers such as Autodesk, Bentley, Hexagon, AVEVA, Esri, and more to achieve client business outcomes through vendor solutions and services.

Lead and develop a small team responsible for executing work within the portfolio, ensuring timely delivery of work in alignment with business priorities and strategic goals. Provide oversight to IT service providers to ensure engineering systems are continuously available, performant, and supported per business needs, IT policies, and contracted KPIs/SLAs. Collaborate with business/discipline stakeholders to package and deploy application updates to client workstations which keep engineering client applications current and free of defects or vulnerabilities.

Coordinate with business owners, software providers, and client software procurement teams to ensure applications are continuously rationalized, licenses are right-sized, and contracts renewed. Required Qualifications: Experience managing the application lifecycle for desktop, cloud, and hosted engineering solutions from key software providers: Autodesk, Bentley, Hexagon, AVEVA, Esri, etc. Experience in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) industry Background in designing, building and maintaining enterprise design and modeling environments Experience with mapping a solution's recommended deployment application architecture into high-level architectures which align with enterprise standards Client focus and proven ability to solve business problems through the appropriate application of technology Understanding of cross-disciplinary AEC workflows and project execution in CAD/CAE technologies.

Capability to multi-task and effectively prioritize within a multi-tasking environment Ability to prioritize tasks independently and deliver to expectations as agreed with stakeholder/requester Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills targeted to all levels of leadership Experience leading small technical teams in an operational environment. Understanding of and experience with the software development lifecycle and methodologies Enterprise data and systems integration experience Software and systems architecture design, cloud services, and hosting experience Experience managing third party SaaS and application hosting platforms Understanding of application packaging and deployment technologies and practices via SCCM Experience with service ServiceNow reporting/ITIL service management framework. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
