What You Will Be Doing:
The Project Planning Coordinator is responsible for creation and maintenance of Project Plans at Yancey Engineered Solutions; focus on delivering clear project plan information and stakeholder alignment
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage creation and maintenance of Project Plans
  • Manage the Master Project Plan in accordance with internal / external customer requirements
  • Resolving production plan schedule conflicts through cross functional team alignment
  • Independently identify opportunities for continuous improvement, manage the projects associated with the continuous improvement
  • Be the primary point of contact for Project Plan information and sharing
  • Use discretion in making independent decisions necessary to maintain project alignments and resolve internal and external conflicts.
  • Utilize dashboards / data to report new project status / progress
  • Analyze data, generate reports / presentations to convey large amounts of information
  • Support cross functional Kickoff, Handover, and Production Readiness meetings
  • Work with cross functional teams in maintaining near/ mid / long term plans
  • Ability to communicate with multiple disciplines
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have prior procurement experience. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.
Education/Experience:
  • Must have 3 - 5 years industry experience
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution preferred
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Proficiency with Software (MS Project, GANTT development, Microsoft Office Suite, D365)
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and implement them proactively
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports and presentations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated success optimizing manufacturing and work processes and methods, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to hold teams accountable to meeting commitments and objectives and adhering to policies and procedures
  • Managing complex, voluminous and sometimes contradictory information to find strong solutions
  • Ability to help develop strategic direction for organization, communicate it effectively to key stakeholders, and implement changes needed to achieve the vision
