Job Purpose
Position is responsible for the creation and management of the global master supply plan for all EnerSys products. This position is the key owner of setting stocking and inventory targets in response to dynamic demand adjustments and managing the supporting supply plans across short-term, mid-term, and long-term planning horizons.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive implementation of process and metric standardization across all supply planning activities for inventory with Master Planners and Production Schedulers.
  • Identify and establish inventory targets and strategies in alignment with each line of business's Forecast Team, SIOP leadership, and Sales teams.
  • Identify key business discussions and decisions required for Executive S&OP meetings.Own finished goods inventory health monitoring and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Align with Forecast Planning Management to understand the impact of forecast changes on both near-term and long-term supply planning.
  • Serve as a key contributor to the implementation of supply planning tool(s).

Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of supply/inventory planning experience.
  • 3 or more years of supply/inventory planning leadership experience managing cross-functional teams or projects and influencing key stakeholders, including senior and executive management.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP/MRP implementation (SAP, Oracle, Infor).
  • Experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • APICS CPIM certification or similar training in S&OP or IBP preferred.
  • Experience organizing and leading effective teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on relationship building.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

THE INDIVIDUAL
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ambitious, personable, proactive, and career-minded individual with a minimum of three (3) years of management experience.
