As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in executing and overseeing engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet specifications, are delivered on time, and stay within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Responsibilities
  • Manages and provides technical engineering support on small-scale/moderately complex capital improvement and maintenance/repair projects from conception through completion, as assigned
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget to meet or exceed company expectations
  • Provides design and engineering support to East Penn construction and maintenance personnel
  • Prepares drawings and/or supervises the development of drawings to support all projects
  • Reviews design documentation for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and related specifications
  • Specifies and orders materials related to facility and process system expansion or renovation
  • Collaborates with outside contractors or vendors to implement and complete projects
  • Facilitates project meetings and coordinates activities concerning technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design problems
  • Ensures compliance to project specifications, the company's safety program expectations, and all applicable regulatory codes

Qualifications
  • 0-3 years of experience in an engineering discipline
  • Prior project engineering or management experience, preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of Project Engineering practices and tools to support projects
  • Microsoft Office (Using standard functions in Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Outlook)
  • AutoCAD drawing/interpretation capabilities including ACAD related software
  • Microsoft Project familiarity preferred
  • B.S. Degree or higher in Project, Civil, Industrial, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline
