JOB SUMMARY: Directs the daily operations of Document Center and oversees the engineering document vault. Responsible for managing the archived records and performs advanced level data entry into MFG PRO, MQ1 and other programs. Reviews and rejects all incoming corporate changes that do not adhere to published Keytronic Policy and Procedures. Represents Engineering as MFG PRO document control expert.

JOB SUMMARY: Manages the organization's planning production functions at the Arkansas facility, while supporting the goals and objectives of the company. Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in planning Keytronic's customer demands. Will develop, monitor, and maintain Production Build Schedules, and will interface with customers on all order fulfillment activities.

  • Manages the company's Production Planners, overseeing the daily loading of customer orders, creation of production plans, and customer fulfillment schedule changes. This includes: establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for staff; regular measurement of performance to the KPIs; timely feedback of performance to employees; establishment of performance improvement plans, if necessary; and headcount and workload management.
  • Responsible for establishing site-specific production schedules, tracking actual performance against the production plan, and optimizing usage of available capacity.
  • Manages the development and publication of the site-specific revenue/forecast and supporting Productions Plans.
  • Analyzes the Forecast-to-Production plan and factory operating data and provides Management with daily progress reports. Responsible for identifying and defining production risk and customer impact by revenue and materials and managing the recovery plan.
  • Maintains on-time delivery data. Provides Management with root cause data and recovery plan for missed deliveries.
  • Leads the Sales/Operations meetings for Keytronic Fayetteville to finalize the Forecast vs. Plan review with the Plant Manager and/or Directors.
  • Develops and maintains Production schedules for select accounts. Determines most optimum allocation of production for Keytronic Fayetteville considering capacity, costs, and delivery in order to meet customer expectations.
  • Interfaces with customers as required.
  • Assists in preparing instructions, training manuals, and other documents to support systems and procedures with input from the Management team, Human Resource department, and Quality team as needed.
  • Responsible for department budget, and responsible for adhering to Corporate Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensures compliance and provides an environment that supports our Corporate Affirmative Action Plan and Equal Employment Opportunity laws.

SUPERVISION GIVEN/RECEIVED This position reports directly to the Direct of Operations and manages assigned employees in the Planning department. Position is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the employees' assigned duties and responsibilities of the Planning department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of four years' experience in demand, inventory, and/or purchasing management. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to deal and relate to people at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills; must be able to write and understand routine reports, follow oral and written instructions, and speak effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and work with diverse groups of people.
  • Must have knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment and be familiar with commonly used email, Internet, word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and materials. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four years' supervisory experience including technical development, motivating, conducting performance appraisals, and assignment and monitoring of goals and objectives.
  • Advanced Degree in Materials or Operations Management
  • Ten-plus years' experience in demand or materials management
  • Six-plus years' management experience
  • C.P.M., C.P.I.M., or a related certification
  • Experience in Contract Manufacturing and EMS industry desired, with an emphasis in supporting an offshore manufacturing facility

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach with hands and arms. The environment is fast-paced; time pressured, and requires accuracy. The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building, and effectively communicate. The normal environment is quiet and typical of an open cubical setting with some areas that may be louder at times.
