Position Overview

The Project Engineer will support project reporting and design tracking for the  project. This role will coordinate engineering deliverables, maintain project logs and dashboards, and provide day-to-day support to keep reporting and design progress aligned with project objectives. 

District Overview

Eastern Canada District's projects include highways, bridges, mass transit, mine site development & open pit operations, hydroelectric powerhouses, wind-power plants, dams & industrial. The serve the construction and mining industries and operates in Eastern Canada.

Location

This role is based in Oakville, Ontario.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly project reporting. 
  • Track engineering and design deliverables against project milestones. 
  • Maintain project logs, dashboards, and action item registers. 
  • Support schedule updates and progress reporting. 
  • Coordinate with engineering disciplines and project controls. 
  • Assist with document management, change tracking, and meeting follow-up. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management. 
  • 3-8 years of project engineering or project coordination experience. 
  • Experience supporting engineering or construction projects. 
  • Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills. 
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and project controls information. 
  • Experience with document control, change tracking, action item management, and coordination across engineering or construction teams. 
  • Proven ability to work productively, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in a team-oriented project environment. #LI-DG

Base Compensation: $110,000/yr - $130,000/yr
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
