Job description

Job Requirements
Starting Pay Rate: $16.50 hourly
As a Project/Floor Custodian you will prioritize/manage projects, workloads and assist EVS co-workers. Strip, wax and polish floors using light and heavy power scrubbers and buffers. Maintain cleanliness in all assign areas and assist in any additional janitorial duties as required.
Sunrise Shift Available:
11:55pm - 7:55am
Your day-to-day as a Project Porter will entail:
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; dusting and wiping down surfaces.
  • Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners.
  • Restocking supplies as needed, such as paper towels and soap.
  • Reporting maintenance issues and safety hazards.
  • Operating machinery to help clean resort
  • Understanding and utilizing various cleaning chemicals

Work Experience
To be successful as a Project Porter, you'll need:
  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • To be able to communicate with team members effectively.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or custodial services.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimal knowledge of cleaning machinery and how to use them.
  • Minimal knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to use them.
  • To be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds.
