Job description

Development Director-Consultant:

  • Provide senior level development services for foundation, a charitable offshoot of foundation and is a public charity organization exempt from federal income taxes
  • Ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with or at fiscal sponsors, leading new onboarding projects, preparing and presenting board level materials and liaising with cross-functional team members and projects leads.
  • Conducts project onboarding/business development activities for company, showcasing its model and addressing the alignment between project demands and donor interests.
  • Supports the VP of Finan lead with business development strategy, pipeline reporting, and board-level materials related to fundraising.
  • Partners with the RFCC Senior Leadership Team to identify funding opportunities, preferred funding targets, and approaches.
  • Develops and maintains key long-term relationships with donors and prospects aligned to areas of focus as needed and at the direction of lead and/or other officers.
  • Coordinates donor communications, grant reporting coordination, and stewardship activities.
  • Regularly maintains and updates CRM (salesforce) gifts/opportunities and conducts check-in calls on deliverables and payments with project teams hosted at in partnership with team members.
  • Liaises with foundations communication' team including dedicated Communications Manager on RFCC branding, presence and communications strategy.
  • Advises on deliverables with Senior Associate- Development and Communications Manager, in line with goals and objectives.
  • Performs other duties reasonably consistent with the role as directed by the VP of Finance/ lead and/or other Officers.
  • Maintains records and diary for permanent staff member to uphold institutional memory.
