  • Coach Project Managers through complex client, team, scope, schedule, and financial challenges.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Build productive working relationships between Project Managers and engineering leaders, reinforcing shared ownership of project commitments and outcomes.

Portfolio & Project Delivery

  • Oversee project delivery within the assigned portfolio, ensuring alignment with client expectations, company objectives, contractual commitments, and available resources.
  • Ensure projects have actionable plans with clearly defined scope, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, engineering estimates, and resource requirements.
  • Review project schedules, budgets, forecasts, risks, and changes to identify concerns and support timely corrective action.
  • Hold Project Managers accountable for maintaining accurate, complete, and current project information in the company's project management platform.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to improve estimating, resource planning, prioritization, and coordination across disciplines.
  • Ensure project risks, conflicts, scope changes, and client concerns are identified, communicated, and addressed proactively.
  • Monitor project performance and help Project Managers protect schedule, budget, profitability, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide direct project leadership or temporary support when business or client needs require it.
  • Reinforce compliance with contractual requirements, industry standards, applicable codes, and company quality procedures.

  • Promote consistent and practical approaches to project planning, scheduling, forecasting, risk management, change control, and project closeout.
  • Improve the quality and reliability of project and portfolio data used for operational decision-making.
  • Provide portfolio-level reporting on schedule, budget, profitability, risk, and resource utilization.
  • Use portfolio information to identify emerging risks, resource constraints, delivery trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support adoption of project management processes and tools through clear expectations, coaching, training, and accountability.
  • Partner with business development teams to support proposals, scope definition, fee development, project planning, and client presentations.
  • Support company initiatives related to growth, operational efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience improving project management processes, operating practices, and data quality across technical teams.
  • Proficiency with project management platforms and the ability to drive effective adoption and consistent use. Experience with ClickUp is helpful but not required.
