As Wathco continues to grow, we are building a pipeline of experienced Project Managers for future opportunities. While this may not be an immediate opening, we are always interested in connecting with talented professionals who may be a strong fit for upcoming projects.


What a Project Manager Does at Wathco


Project Managers at Wathco are responsible for overseeing projects from estimating and preconstruction through final closeout, while also supporting business development and client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Estimating and bidding projects, including reviewing drawings, scopes, and preparing project budgets
  • Assisting with client relationships and sales efforts, helping secure new project opportunities
  • Managing the full lifecycle of assigned projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Coordinating closely with Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking
  • Managing change orders, contract documentation, and project financials
  • Maintaining communication with clients, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project success
  • Utilizing company systems such as Procore and QuickBooks to track project progress and documentation
  • Overseeing project closeout, including punch lists, warranty documentation, and final client approvals
  • Identifying and resolving issues proactively to keep projects moving and protect project margins


What We Look For


  • Commercial construction project management experience required
  • Experience with estimating, bidding, and client relationship management preferred
  • Experience managing restaurant remodels, tenant improvements, or commercial renovation programs strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software
  • Experience working with construction budgets, job costing, and change order management
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
