We take pride in delivering reliable steel stud framing, insulation, drywall, taping, and EIFS solutions while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.


Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Managers in administrative, coordination, and documentation tasks. This role is essential to ensuring projects run smoothly, on schedule, and within budget.


Responsibilities

1. Administrative Support

  • Assist Project Managers with checklist execution (kickoff, mobilization, job setup)
  • Help create and distribute project documentation and reports
  • Support development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs)

2. Communication & Coordination

  • Facilitate communication between project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Assist in preparing for meetings, conference calls, and site visits

3. Project Documentation

  • Maintain accurate, organized, and accessible project files
  • Assist with submittals, RFIs, and document control processes
  • Distribute construction plan sets using PlanGrid
  • Print and distribute plans to field personnel
  • Assist with contracts, job setup, and closeout documentation (including warranties)
  • Track subcontractor contracts and prequalification documentation

4. Budget & Cost Tracking

  • Maintain Project Manager calendars for WIP and billing cycles
  • Track and process change orders from initiation to completion
  • Assist with job cost tracking and updates in coordination with accounting
  • Support material tracking to ensure accurate job costing

5. Scheduling & Logistics

  • Assist in tracking and updating project schedules
  • Distribute schedules to field personnel
  • Maintain shared project calendars

6. Software & Process Improvement

  • Support implementation of project management software
  • Help standardize and improve workflows and procedures


Qualifications

Education

  • Associate degree in Construction Management (preferred)

Experience

  • Previous experience in construction or project coordination is a plus
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., PlanGrid) is preferred
