Position Title: Project Manager

This role involves managing high-value projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and leading project delivery from inception to completion. The successful candidate will navigate challenges associated with large-scale systems and maintain profitability while fostering strong stakeholder relationships. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant projects within a supportive and growth-oriented environment, ideal for individuals looking to advance their careers in project management.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project delivery, profitability, and client satisfaction on complex mechanical projects valued between $5M and $15M
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communications with general contractors, owners, and their representatives
  • Lead project planning using a three-week look-ahead schedule and coordinate daily with superintendents
  • Manage contracts, commitments, purchase orders, requests for information, and submittals using project management software
  • Collaborate with preconstruction estimators for project handoffs and assist with change-order estimating as needed
  • Work closely with internal engineering teams, when necessary, without primary design responsibilities
  • Mentor and coach project managers and junior staff, potentially supervising 1-2 project managers
  • Occasionally travel to regional sites to oversee project milestones and activities

Project Manager Requirements:
  • Mechanical construction project management experience with large commercial systems
  • Proven track record in managing high-value projects, ideally between $5M and $15M, with experience in handling multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills
