Job description

Project Manager
• Role Overview: The Project Manager drives successful delivery of complex, cross-functional product and service initiatives. This role aligns engineering, product management, operations, marketing, and support to meet time, quality, and budget expectations.
• Scope: Planning, tracking, and communicating across the entire Product Lifecycle; managing risks; informing stakeholders; and ensuring objectives are defined and met across hardware, firmware, software, consultancy services, and customer-facing deliverables in a regulated, quality-driven industry.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of projects within the Product Lifecycle Process.
• Facilitate planning sessions; develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource allocations, milestones, and critical path tracking.
• Coordinate resource allocation for cross-functional teams — Engineering, Product, Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Support — ensuring timely task execution and handovers.
• Own project status tracking, reporting, and governance; clearly communicate KPIs, risks, issues, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support agile delivery where appropriate by driving sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and release readiness reviews.
• Ensure project outcomes align with strategic objectives, customer requirements, and compliance obligations (e.g., EN standards, ADA).
• Support Product Management in balancing feature delivery with resource and time constraints.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery process, documentation, and stakeholder engagement practices.
• Support post-launch reviews and capture lessons learned to improve future performance.
• Key Performance Indicators:
• On-time delivery of products to schedule.
• Timely and accurate communication to stakeholders.
• Budget adherence across managed projects.
• Cross-functional team satisfaction and alignment.
• Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered.
• 5+ years of project management experience in a technology, engineering, or product development environment, ideally including hardware-software systems.
• Proven track record managing multiple, multidisciplinary projects — resource planning, balancing trade-offs, and delivering successful outcomes across engineering, manufacturing, and support functions.
• Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid) and associated tools (e.g., Jira, Monday.com, Confluence, MS Project).
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adept at identifying and mitigating risk, resolving conflicts, and driving accountability.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP certification preferred; alternate PM certification or equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in regulated industries with compliance, certification, or accessibility standards.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and related tools.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Highly organized with a strategic mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Resilient under pressure and adaptable in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Clear and proactive communicator — able to translate technical complexity for any audience.
• Strong influencer — able to drive accountability and alignment across teams without direct authority.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making timely decisions with incomplete information.
• Collaborative team player who builds trust across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams.
• Working Conditions:
• Based in Bluffdale, Utah.
• Occasional domestic and international travel required — up to 10%.
• Requires flexibility for occasional extended hours during product launches, trade shows, and events.
• Physical Requirements:
• Primarily performed in a professional office environment; prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
• Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and collaboration tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Occasional lifting/carrying of items up to 25 pounds (e.g., trade show gear).
• Occasional domestic and international travel up to 10% with flexibility for extended hours during trade shows and events.
• Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
