Project Manager

Shift: 1st Shift

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee heavy steel fabrication and mechanical field service projects from start to finish. In this role, you'll manage project schedules, budgets, customer communication, and coordination between the shop and field teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple fabrication and field service projects from start to completion.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Prepare project estimates and customer quotes.
  • Work with engineering, production, purchasing, and field teams to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project costs and manage change orders.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout each project.
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and safety requirements.
  • Provide regular project updates to customers and internal teams.
  • Complete project documentation and closeout activities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager in steel fabrication, structural steel, industrial construction, or a related field.
  • Experience managing fabrication and/or mechanical field service projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project drawings.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience preparing estimates, proposals, or project budgets.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software.
