Job description

Conewago Enterprises is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience successfully managing commercial construction projects and running commercial job sites. This position requires a proven leader who understands that successful construction is built on safety, quality, teamwork, planning, accountability, and execution.

The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the successful execution of assigned projects and duties to include:

  • Safety: Establish and maintain a strong job-site safety culture and ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure projects are constructed in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and company standards.
  • Planning: Develop and maintain effective project plans, manpower requirements, material needs, equipment requirements, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Administration: Manage the administrative requirements of the project, including contracts, budgets, purchase orders, subcontractor coordination, change management, and cost control.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, schedules, change orders, correspondence, RFIs, submittals, and other required records.
  • Productivity: Monitor field operations and resources to ensure maximum productivity and efficient use of manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Schedule: Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules while proactively identifying potential delays and developing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Profitability: Take ownership of project financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, billing, change orders, and overall project profitability.
  • Communication: Maintain professional and effective communication with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, field personnel, and company leadership.
  • Leadership: Provide direction and support to project teams while holding all members accountable for achieving project goals.
