Your Role

Join our team as a Project Manager in Victoria!

Weโ€™re looking for outstanding project leaders who are organized, have a keen eye for details and have led and managed complex projects from start to finish โ€“ on time and on budget with our British Columbia business unit. Youโ€™re good at building strong, trusting client relationships and have a knack for bringing the right people together to come up with innovative ideas and solutions.

To be successful in this role you will bring a wealth of experience leading projects and be able to demonstrate a portfolio varying in scope and complexity with depth in project delivery focusing on building and facility project delivery specifically municipal infrastructure projects, or mixed-use evironments.


  • Develop strong client relationships and act as the clientโ€™s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the clientโ€™s goals and objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the client, applying your deep understanding of design, construction and operation of infrastructure assets.
  • Ensure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects and the clientโ€™s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issues
  • Select and organize project teams and establish levels of authority and lines of communication
  • Lead the control of project related documents and deliver all work in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders Quality Management System and procedures
  • Chair project and site meetings, find resolution to issues and coordinate between multiple stakeholders
  • Regularly report on project status by means of schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records and other reports
  • Provide oversight and leadership to the change management process, payment certificates and other contract or project related administrative documents

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Manager, ideally representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope in sectors such as municipal infrastructure, facilities or mixed-use environment. 
  • A university degree or diploma in Mechanical, Civil or a related engineering discipline required (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
  • E.I.T/P.Eng required 
  • Extensive client facing experience in the delivery of related projects.
  • Led and/or significantly contributed to the preparation of RFP/Qโ€™s, tenders and tender awards.
  • Strong working knowledge of a variety of design and construction delivery models.
  • The leadership skills needed to influence decisions and resolve client and project issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issues

Approximate Base Salary Range for Role:  $72,158 -$103,993 CAD.

Base Salary pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Annual bonus opportunities are in addition to base salary.
