Overview

The Construction Project Manager (CPM) leads the planning and execution of ARH capitalprojects, ranging from renovations and infrastructure upgrades to groundup constructionwith accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and compliance. The CPMorchestrates design and construction partners, engages clinical and operationalstakeholders, and ensures uninterrupted care delivery in active healthcare environments.

Special InstructionsPosition will be remote; however, must visit on-site facilities as needed.Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & Controls Lead multiple projects simultaneously from concept through occupancy. Establish and manage baseline scope, schedule, and budget; control changes, RFIs,submittals, and contingencies within Procore. Serve as Owner's Representative with architects, engineers, contractors, AHJs, andend users. Coordinate phasing and logistics to minimize disruption to patient care.Healthcare Codes, Standards & Survey Readiness Ensure designs and construction align with applicable codes and FGI Guidelines forDesign & Construction. Assure compliance with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and implement Interim LifeSafety Measures (ILSM) when required. Lead Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA 2.0) and PCRA processes withInfection Prevention and Facilities. Support Joint Commission/DNV survey readiness for the Physical Environment.Safety, Quality & Commissioning Enforce site safety programs, environmental controls, and ILSM/ICRA permits. Oversee owner verification and testing, punchlist, system startup, training, andturnover packages. Coordinate equipment planning inputs and room readiness.Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Facilitate user group meetings; maintain transparent communications with clinicalleadership and facilities teams. Manage enabling work, swing spaces, and phased occupancy plans.Procurement & Contracting Assist with A/E and CM/GC selections, RFQs/RFPs, bid analyses, and contractnegotiations. Administer contracts, pay apps, and change orders in Procore.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/ElectricalEngineering, Architecture, or related field. Or equivalent experience 5+ years of project management experience; healthcare experience preferred. Proficiency with Procore. Knowledge of ICRA/ILSM, NFPA 101, and FGI guidelines.Preferred Qualifications CHC, PMP, CCM, or ASHE ICRA credentials. Experience in architecture, engineering, construction cost estimating, or medicalequipment planning.Core Competencies Owner's Representative mindset. Healthcare risk management (ICRA/ILSM). Technical rigor (FGI/NFPA compliance). Digital delivery expertise (Procore). Strong stakeholder communication.Work Conditions Travel required across ARH facilities. Physical ability to access construction areas and use PPE. Flexible hours for shutdowns and phased work.
