  • Project Manager – Utility & Infrastructure Capital Projects

Project Overview
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple utility and infrastructure capital projects within a manufacturing environment. The selected resource will be responsible for planning, execution, contractor coordination, procurement activities, commissioning support, budget management, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project delivery within schedule and budget expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead utility and infrastructure capital projects from planning through execution and startup.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
  • Manage RFP processes, bid evaluations, contractor selection, and procurement activities.
  • Track project progress, risks, budgets, and deliverables while providing regular status updates to leadership.
  • Support commissioning, startup, and Management of Change (MOC) activities.
  • Coordinate FAT and SAT activities as applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and engineering requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and support troubleshooting efforts during project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience supporting manufacturing, utilities, infrastructure, or capital projects.
  • Experience managing contractors, vendors, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and utility systems.
  • Experience supporting equipment startup, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Reverse Osmosis systems, boilers, utilities, wastewater treatment, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with SAP or similar project cost management systems.
  • Familiarity with FAT/SAT execution and Management of Change processes.
