Summary

Weโ€™re working with an established commercial general contractor based in the Portland metro / SW Washington thatโ€™s actively looking to bring on a Project Manager to support a steady pipeline of commercial work, with a growing presence in multifamily projects.

This role will be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with ownership, field teams, and subcontractors to keep jobs moving on schedule and within budget. While the work isnโ€™t exclusively multifamily, the team is looking to bring on someone who has ground-up multifamily experience and can step into those projects as they continue to expand in that space.

This is a good opportunity for someone who wants a stable pipeline, direct visibility with leadership, and the ability to take real ownership of their projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout across commercial and select multifamily work
  • Handle buyout, subcontract negotiation, and contract execution
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with field teams
  • Lead OAC meetings and serve as the main point of contact for clients and consultants
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Track project costs, forecasting, and overall financial performance
  • Coordinate with superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with schedule and budget
  • Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in line with contract requirements

Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor
  • Experience supporting ground-up multifamily projects
  • Strong understanding of buyout, contracts, and cost control
  • Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and standard PM tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with both field and clients
  • Construction-related degree or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation & Details
  • Strong benefits package and long-term growth opportunity
  • Stable project pipeline with a mix of commercial and multifamily work
