Project Manager - Pavement Marking & Highway Safety

 Location: Bridgeport, CT Reports to:

Vice President, Operations Company: Safety Marking LLC

Safety Marking LLC is one of the Northeast's leading pavement marking and highway safety contractors. We're known for quality work, a strong safety culture, and a fleet of specialized equipment that keeps us at the forefront of the industry. We support state DOTs, municipalities, and commercial clients-and we're growing fast.

We're looking for a handson Project Manager to help lead our Road Division and keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daytoday operations for pavement marking and roadway safety projects.
  • Plan work, schedule crews, and coordinate equipment and materials.
  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and keep jobs on schedule.
  • Lead and support field teams; ensure clear communication and safe operations.
  • Work closely with clients, inspectors, and internal teams to keep projects moving.
  • Identify issues early, solve problems quickly, and keep work compliant with DOT and company standards.
  • Monitor performance, quality, and safety throughout each project.
  • Close out projects with accurate documentation and lessons learned.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Teams, Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastmoving environment
  • A proactive, problemsolving mindset
  • Clear communication and strong people skills

Schedule

This is a fulltime, inperson role with seasonal variation.

  • OffSeason (Jan-Mar): ~40 hours/week
  • InSeason (Mar-Dec): 40+ hours/week, including required overtime
  • Core hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday
