Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing renewable energy projects, possess excellent communication and leadership skills, and have a solid understanding of project finance, regulatory compliance, and environmental requirements.
Key Responsibility
- Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring projects stay within financial parameters.
- Work closely with finance teams to track project costs, assess financial viability, and secure necessary funding or capital.
- Ensure all local, state, and federal regulations are adhered to, including environmental, zoning, and land use permits.
- Coordinate the preparation of necessary documentation and submissions for permitting agencies.
- Oversee the transition from development to construction, including managing contractor bids, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor project progress during construction, ensuring all milestones are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with site managers and contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, health and safety regulations, and quality control measures.
- Identify, assess, and manage potential risks during all project phases, implementing solutions as necessary to avoid delays or cost overruns.
- Act as the central point of contact for all project stakeholders, including senior management, investors, contractors, and community groups.
- Provide regular updates on project status, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.
- Lead the final commissioning of renewable energy projects, ensuring smooth handover to operations teams once construction is complete.
- Oversee project closeout, including final reports, as-built documentation, and lessons learned.
- Office 50% and travel 50% to jobsites
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is preferred.
- 10 + years experience in PV Construction & Management, either in EPC and/or Owner perspectives.
- Team player, high level of organization, time management, and autonomy.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and business relationships.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Domain of MS Office, good knowledge of MS Project and CAD.
- Available to travel and stay in project sites in various locations when required.
