Amsive is a leader in high-volume print and mail manufacturing with over 40 years of experience.
Our success depends on people who are dependable, performance-focused and take pride in meeting goals. Production is completed in-house using modern high-speed print and mail manufacturing equipment.ย

In office working at: 605 Territorial Drive Bolingbrook, IL 60440 onsite/non-remote
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm, some additional hour including weekends expected
Salary: Starting at $60k based on experience and skills

What we are looking for:

The Project Manager, Operations is a key member of the Operations department in the Direct Mail division, responsible for supporting client relationships through planning and executing all aspects of direct mail projects. The Project Manager ensures that all aspects of projects are fulfilled correctly and on time for Amsiveโ€™s direct mail clients with a medium degree of complexity.ย ย 
What you will be doing:
ย 
  • Manage all aspects of direct mail projects for assigned clients, including intake, documentation, timelines, work instructions, quoting and inventory ordering, quality control and invoicing.ย 
  • Work closely with internal departments such as: production scheduling, estimating/purchasing, data services, creative and othersย ย 
  • Be an advocate for the client within Operations working to ensure the quality and accuracy of work completed.ย 
  • Support Senior Project Manager in handling more complex clients.ย 
  • Maintain documentation of customer requirements and keep detailed, accurate records of changes to client processes.ย 
  • Verify and proactively communicate project status to clientsย 
  • Create project plans, specifications, and job instructions for all necessary departmentsย ย 
  • Achieve a strong knowledge of:ย 
    • Amsiveโ€™s enterprise resource planning softwareย 
    • Direct mail production and art specificationsย ย 
    • USPS policies and proceduresย 
    • Internal processesย 
    • Client programs and requirementsย 
  • Create production samples for in-house and client useย 
  • Monitor inventory and postage levels for assigned clients, to avoid project delaysย 
  • Provide reporting as neededย 
  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned clients and internal stakeholdersย 
  • Execute change management process as needed to ensure quality and capture associated costsย 
  • Mitigate client issues effectively following escalation procedures on any issues that may ariseย 
  • Assist Sales team with Statement of Work documentation, as neededย 

Who you are:

  • Highly relevant experience inย similarย role or at least 2 yearsโ€™ experience as Project Coordinator.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree or equivalent
  • Relevant industry experience preferred
  • Able to be a team player through relationships, cross-training and back up other teamsโ€™ members as needed.
  • Ability to learn and understand the USPS regulations for the Print, Direct Mail, Direct Marketing, Advertising and Business Services related industry.โ€ฏ
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application software.โ€ฏย 

Supervisory Responsibilities: Not responsible for supervising other employees.

Work Environment: This job routinely functions in a standard office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

  • Stand and walk to visit the production enviroment
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds if needed
  • Perform repetitive motionsย
