Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The SCC Project Manager manages assigned projects with SCC clients to include project management, customer relationship management, financial management (accounts receivable and billing), RFQ (Requests for Quotes), and SCR (Software Change Requests). Most work will be on software and hardware upgrades, complex implementation projects, add on software projects or standalone implementations. Coordinates activities with Client Project Manager and Client Resources to complete projects on time and on budget.

SCC Office is in Clearwater, Florida and we are following a Hybrid work schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adheres to the SCC Project management methodology for the lifecycle of a project.
  • Contributes to the development of the project plan with other members of the SCC and Client teams to establish the final project plan and deliverables.
  • Responsible for the development of the Project Charter with other key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the development of the Statement of Work from the contract in conjunction with other members of the SCC team and Client Team.
  • Responsible for the management of the Project Plan, deliverables and is ultimately responsible for bringing all parties together insuring that the project is delivered on time and on budget through the complete lifecycle of the project.
  • Conducts kickoff meetings at client site to signal the beginning of the project
  • Maintains milestones, work break down structures, task trackers, risk and issues logs for the throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provides SCC management and client with project status reports both written and verbal as defined in project charter.
  • Coordinates and Facilitates project planning and review meetings to conducts discussion with all levels of staff at client and SCC utilizing the SCC Project Management Methodology and Framework.
  • Provides suggestions for improvement where applicable
  • Monitors client satisfaction throughout project and works to provide excellent customer service
  • Resolves or escalates all issues that can affect the project’s critical path
  • Coordinates the participation of necessary SCC resources in the resolution of open project issues
  • Monitors overall budget and manages scope of project against SOW and Deliverables.
  • Creates Change Orders as necessary to document variances in project from contract and SOW.
  • Requests quotes for products and services needed towards the successful completion of the project
  • Complies with all approved procedures, directives and guidelines
  • Performs oversight of work for Project Coordinators
  • Mentors Project Coordinators
  • Performs other duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education Required:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or Healthcare related field. Master Degree preferred. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree of equivalent experience is required. SCC Project Management or equivalent certification required.

Experience Required:

Three years of previous project management experience with evidence of professional competence. Must have successfully led a complex project for more than 6 months with successful implementation.

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, to include Outlook, Excel, Project, and Power Point.
