Theย Transportation Business Unit is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Bellevue, WA.

Senior Transportation Project Manager will lead the delivery of complex transportation infrastructure projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. This position serves as a senior leader within DEA's Transportation Business Unit andย is responsible forย the successful management of large, multi-disciplinary transportation projects involving public agencies, consultant teams, contractors, and community stakeholders.ย 

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading major transportation initiatives, including highways, bridges, transit, and other public infrastructure projects. This individual willย leverageย strong technicalย expertise, program management skills, and client relationships to successfully deliver projects while contributing to strategic growth and business development efforts.

What You'll DoKey Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Project Manager for large, complex transportation projects and multi-project programs.ย 
  • Lead aspects of project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and contract administration.ย 
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams consisting of engineering, environmental, planning, right-of-way, public involvement, and construction professionals.ย 
  • Oversee project controls, financial performance, invoicing, forecasting, accounts receivable, subconsultant management, and project closeout activities.ย 
  • Coordinate with public agencies, regulatory partners, elected officials, community groups, and project stakeholders to achieve projectย objectives.ย 
  • Develop andย maintainย strong client relationships that result in repeat work and long-term partnerships.ย 
  • Participate actively in business development activities including strategic planning, client engagement, proposal development, and project pursuits.ย 
  • Mentor and develop project managers, technical staff, and future leaders within the organization.ย 
  • Support transportation practice growth initiatives and contribute to company-wide committees, strategic initiatives, and leadership efforts.ย 
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineeringย orย a relatedย fieldย required.ย 
  • Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.ย 
  • Minimum 20 years of progressively responsible transportation engineering, project management, or program management experience.ย 
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale transportation infrastructure projects and programs for public-sector clients.ย 
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments involving multiple agencies, public involvement, environmental processes, and consultant teams.ย 
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methods, contracting approaches, risk management, project controls, andย financial management.ย
