Job Summary

Auxis is seeking an experienced Director, Finance Transformation to lead the delivery of strategic finance transformation initiatives for Fortune 1000 and middle-market organizations. This leadership role combines client delivery, practice development, and business development responsibilities, helping organizations optimize Finance & Accounting operations through process improvement, Shared Services, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), automation, and digital transformation.

The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leaders, bringing deep expertise in finance operations, transformation programs, and consulting services.

ResponsibilitiesPractice Leadership
  • Lead Finance Transformation, F&A Optimization, Shared Services, and BPO engagements for enterprise clients.
  • Manage project delivery, client satisfaction, project financials, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement solutions that improve finance processes, operational efficiency, and business performance.
  • Mentor and develop consulting professionals while supporting the growth of the Finance Transformation practice.
  • Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and repeatable solutions that drive long-term client value.
Client Relationship & Business Development
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CFOs, Controllers, and senior business leaders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities for operational improvement and transformation.
  • Support business development activities, client proposals, and solution design efforts.
  • Conduct client assessments to understand business, operational, and technology needs.
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives related to Finance Transformation, Shared Services, Automation, and BPO.
Skills and Experience
    • 10+ years of professional experience, with 15+ years preferred.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in a consulting, transformation, Shared Services, or BPO environment.
    • Strong expertise in Finance & Accounting operations, particularly Record-to-Report (R2R).
    • Proven experience leading Finance Transformation, Shared Services, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
    • Experience managing consulting teams and delivering complex client engagements.
    • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
    • Experience working directly with Fortune 1000, multinational, or large middle-market organizations.
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • CPA, Master's Degree, or other relevant professional certification.
    • Knowledge of US GAAP.
    • Experience with ERP implementations and finance technology solutions.
    • Understanding of Latin American business and accounting practices.
    • Bilingual English and Spanish.
