Job description

Senior Electrical Project Manager – Data Center & Mission Critical | Construction Project Management

Join a team that invests in your success. We offer meaningful work on large-scale electrical construction projects, a collaborative culture, and a comprehensive benefits package — including 100% employer-paid medical and dental premiums.

As a Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will report directly to the Director and VP, leading complex electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This is a client-facing leadership role with real growth potential, peer collaboration, and ongoing technical training.

What You'll Do

You will own full project lifecycle management for large-scale electrical and mission-critical construction projects, including data center electrical installations, IT/telecommunications infrastructure, and retrofits in operationally critical facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Generating estimates and reviewing project proposals; establishing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; supervising project execution to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements; managing RFPs, change orders, and change management forms; forecasting financials and course-correcting as needed; leading billing and collections efforts; and coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff to ensure timely procurement and on-schedule delivery.

You will conduct regular job site visits, enforce safety compliance in accordance with company and client policies, and provide consistent reporting and updates to senior leadership. You will also build and maintain strong client relationships before, during, and after project completion, and mentor junior project managers and staff to support their professional development.

Required Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must bring 10 or more years of construction project management experience, including at least 5 years specifically managing electrical projects for large-scale, complex IT/telecommunications infrastructure and data center installations. Required experience includes data center electrical distribution systems, structured cabling, and white space fit-out, as well as retrofits in live, operational critical facilities and cross-discipline critical facility systems.

Candidates must have strong computer proficiency, the ability to perform calmly under deadlines and pressure, and demonstrated skills in scheduling, delegation, conflict resolution, and client communication. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship, including H-1B.

Preferred Qualifications

Mission-critical project experience is strongly preferred. We also prefer candidates who hold a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of certifications and experience, such as a journeyman or master electrician's license. A Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Scheduling Professional (SP) certification is a plus, as is familiarity with Google Suite, Salesforce, and ConEst.

Compensation & Benefits Inclulde:

  • Medical and Dental — 100% of premiums covered by the company
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Vision, disability, and life insurance (basic and supplemental)
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Travel Accident Insurance
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Tuition Reimbursement Program
  • College Coach Services
