The role in a nutshell
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager, with a track record ofdelivering complex technical projects, to guide and support our engineering teams. This role will not only ensure adherence to our project management processes andconstantly review bestpractices, but will also oversee multiple projects, ensuring that they align with organizational objectives and deliver on time and within scope. 

The Opportunity 
  • Run project and team meetings, including team stand ups, sprint and project retrospectives. Facilitate  meetings tomonitorproject progress and resolve any issues the team may be experiencing. 
  • Identifysilos, find requirement gaps, and groom teams' behaviour through excellent communication via project management methodologies. 
  • Enable engineering teams to deliver within project outlines and timelines. Enable team leads to distribute responsibilities to team members. 
  • Remove project obstacles and develop solutions with the team. 
  • Ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Build strong relationships with inside and outside stakeholders, 
  • Document progress and communicate to management and stakeholders, via  
  • regular reports and burn down charts to track progress and measure productivity. 
  • Maximize use of AI tools to expedite the project delivery process. 
  • Work with Product Owners to maintainproduct backlogs across departments. 
  • Important to have daily/frequent communication with hiring manager (Director of Technology) and prioritize tech debt, infrastructure, and cyber security initiatives with all other business priorities.
 
The Person 
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field 
  • Prior experience in a Technical Project Manager role, or in an Agile Project Management role for 5-7 years managing multiple teams and priorities/projects, with cross-team dependencies and collaboration 
  • Experience infacilitating project ceremonies (stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies beyond Scrum, like Kanban or XP, can be a plus. 
  • Flexible and adaptative approach to the most appropriate project delivery process for each team 
  • Servant leadership and continuous improvement mindset. 
  • Proactiveness inidentifyingand removing impediments. 
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, from team members to executives, and effectively communicate the project management process and its benefits. 
  • Expertisewith project management toolsincluding JIRA 

Desirable 
  • Knowledge of modern software development practices and procedures 
  • Fixed income or Fintech experience is aplus 
  • Project Management, or Agile Project Management, or equivalent certifications 

The base pay range for this position in New York is $130,000 - $170,000 annually. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity and year-end bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
