On‑site (Springfield, IL) presence during the first week is required for onboarding and meeting the team (Minimum 3 days).

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Information Security team in planning, executing, and delivering IT security initiatives. This is a hands‑on role requiring a technical project manager with cybersecurity ("security shop") experience who will actively manage projects—not just observe. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the team, driving execution, anticipating risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively lead and manage projects end‑to‑end, ensuring timely and successful delivery
  • Track project status, monitor progress, and provide clear updates to stakeholders
  • Identify, escalated, and resolve issues proactively
  • Develop a strong understanding of project scope, timelines, and dependencies
  • Serve as a key partner to stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor ("project manager whisperer")
  • Be an integral part of the team, contributing to both planning and execution
  • Forecast potential risks/issues and communicate them effectively with mitigation strategies

  • Create, assign, and manage tasks across project teams

  • Experience with Microsoft Project for planning and tracking
  • Experience with ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) module
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
