Senior Project Manager (Capital Markets)
NYC
Responsibilities
Managed one or several project(s) at a time
- Track milestones
- Run project meeting
- Track risks/issues and escalate when necessary
- Write a weekly status report
- Coordinate discussion points
- Follow-up development
- Prepare and coordinate UAT/SIT and development releases
Start/Design new projects; define governance, timeline, and milestones; organize kick-off meetings.
- Implement and participate in the standardization effort
- Apply the new standard to the projects being managed
Provide feedback to improve the current process
Must have
- 2+ years of experience in Project Management
- 3+ years in IT
- 2+ years in the Financial Markets/Trading industry
- Good knowledge of the Trade Life Cycle
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Project
- Proficient in Jira
- Good knowledge of SQL and APIs
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and structured
- Rigorous and consistent
