Electrical Quality Assurance Representative (QAR)

Manassas, VA

Support the Construction of One of the Nation's Most Advanced Semiconductor Facilities

We're seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) to support the construction of a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facility in Manassas, Virginia.

This role is responsible for ensuring electrical installations meet project specifications, quality standards, applicable codes, and industry best practices. You'll work closely with construction management, contractors, and project stakeholders to verify work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project requirements.

Candidates with experience supporting semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or data center construction projects are highly preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Perform quality inspections of electrical installations throughout all phases of construction.
  • Verify work complies with project specifications, drawings, applicable codes, and quality standards.
  • Review electrical installations including power distribution, conduit systems, cable tray, grounding, lighting, controls, and equipment connections.
  • Coordinate inspections with contractors, field supervision, and project management teams.
  • Identify quality deficiencies and work with construction teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Track punch list items and verify corrective actions have been completed.
  • Review RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation as needed.
  • Participate in quality meetings and provide regular project status updates.
  • Support turnover activities and ensure systems are ready for commissioning.
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the project.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as an Electrical Quality Assurance Representative, Electrical Superintendent, Electrical Inspector, Electrical Field Engineer, or Electrical Project Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical construction practices.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, and installation details.
  • Familiarity with NEC requirements and industry quality standards.
  • Experience coordinating with electrical contractors and multidisciplinary construction teams.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
