JOB MISSION

In this role as Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that deliver meaningful business outcomes and advance organizational strategy. This roleis responsible fordriving the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects, programs, and business transformation initiatives using a best-fit delivery approach (Agile, hybrid, or traditional), while adapting to evolving priorities and business needs.


A key focus of this role is leading enterprise-scale transformation efforts, including global ERP implementations, technology modernization programs, and operational transformation initiatives that enable business growth and scalability. The Senior Project Manager will serve as a critical connector between business, product, and technology teams, helping bridge the gap between product-led and project-led technology organizations to ensure alignment from strategy through execution.


As a trusted partnertobusiness, technology, product, and delivery teams, the Senior Project Manager fosters collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. As a senior member of the PMO, this role contributes to PMO standards, mentors other project managers, and proactivelyidentifiesopportunities to strengthen delivery effectiveness, governance, and operational maturity.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple cross-functional projects, programs, or workstreams, ensuring alignment to strategicobjectives, timelines, scope, budget, and quality expectations.

  • Apply and tailor delivery methodologies (Agile, hybrid, or traditional) to suit project needs while promoting agility and continuous improvement.

  • Establish andmaintainclear project plans, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, and success metrics.

  • Proactively manage project RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), including mitigation planning andtimelyescalation whenrequired.

  • Facilitate project governance through structured status reporting, RAG indicators, milestone reviews, executive steering committees, and leadership updates.

  • Partner with business stakeholders, product, engineering, architecture, and technology teams to translate strategicobjectivesinto actionable requirements and execution plans.

  • Lead complex business transformation programs, including enterprise-wide and global ERP implementations, ensuring successful delivery across business functions, geographies, and technology platforms.

  • Serve as a strategic liaison between business, product, and technology teams, bridging the gap between product and project delivery organizations to drive alignment, transparency, and execution success.

  • Partner with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, and business stakeholders to align product roadmaps, project priorities, and organizationalobjectives.

  • Drive organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption activities associated with large-scale business transformation and technology initiatives.

  • Manage global stakeholder relationships, governance forums, and executive communications for highly visible, enterprise-wide programs.

  • Schedule andfacilitatenecessary meetings throughout all project phases; manage decisions and action items; monitor, track, and report project progress.

  • Work with external vendors and internal teams to plan and manage project activities, provide governance and oversight, and deliver status and other communications to Business, IT, Product, and Leadership stakeholders.

  • Identifyopportunities to improve project delivery processes, tools, governance frameworks, and ways of working across the PMO.

  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance to project managers and project team members to elevate delivery excellence and project management maturity.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of project management experience in a relevant business or technology field.

  • Strong understandingof andhands-on experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, programs, or complex workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Provenexpertisein Agile, Scrum, hybrid, and traditional project management methodologies.

  • Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.

  • Ability to work within Agile lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or comparable solutions.

  • Experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives, including global ERP implementations, enterprise platform deployments, or digital transformation programs.

  • Demonstrated ability tooperateeffectively within both product-centric and project-centric technology organizations, aligning stakeholders and driving delivery outcomes.

  • Experience managing global, cross-functional programs involving multiple business units, technology teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.

  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, influence, and organizational change management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, build trusted relationships, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, take a hands-on approach, and help teams achieve successful outcomes in complex environments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting or leading SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or other enterprise ERP implementations.

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master,SAFe, or similar project management certifications.

  • Experience working within retail, consumer products, supply chain, manufacturing, or global enterprise environments.

  • Knowledge of portfolio management, PMO governance frameworks, and enterprise transformation best practices.

  • Experience managing projects across globally distributed teams and multiple time zones.

Boston, MA Headquarters - (NB) Only Pay Range: $100,200.00 - $129,300.00 - $158,400.00 Annual (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
