Job description

Benefits:

Summary of Position:

The Project Manager I is responsible for the successful delivery of small to moderately complex customer-facing projects with well-defined scopes. This role independently manages the full project lifecycle—from translating client SOWs into project plans through execution and closeout—while serving as the primary point of contact for customers during active delivery. The PM I owns project schedule, scope, budget, and risk, and works collaboratively with Project Coordinators and Program Managers to ensure client satisfaction and delivery excellence..

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the primary client point of contact for all project milestones, status updates, and delivery activities
  • Independently translate client Statements of Work, Letters of Intent, and work orders into actionable project plans, deliverables, and milestones
  • Develop,maintain, and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines to achieve delivery goals
  • Own project scope, budget, and risk management; track spend-to-date, forecasted spend, and budget burn rates
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including internal resources and client stakeholders
  • Manage customer expectations, escalations, and change control processes in a proactive and professional manner
  • Create andmaintainproject controls including action item lists, risk logs, issue logs, change control, and decision logs
  • Communicate consistently with stakeholders and sponsors on project status, milestones, risks, and key decisions
  • Drive structured project meetings with clear agendas, goals, and documented outcomes
  • Ensureaccuratebilling by verifying project financials prior to invoicing
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve delivery objectives

Work Environment:

This position is based in a professional office and warehouse setting and regularly utilizes workplace technology, including computers, smartphones, multifunction printers, cloud-based filing systems, and collaboration tools.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree

3-5 Years of Experience
