We are looking for a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our Seattle or Tacoma, Washington office. In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative team that values trusted client relationships, thrives on fast-paced work, and successfully delivers projects, often in occupied environments. You will be responsible for:

  • Business Development/Client & Architect Management - Manage client relations and actively participate in business development efforts.ย ย 
  • Project Preconstructionย - Leads preconstruction services, ensuring accurate project estimates and bids are provided.
  • Utilization & Management of Internal Resources- Strive to incorporate the maximum amount of self-performed work and company owned equipment into the project and coordinate/manage the same.ย 
  • Contract Management & Administration, Risk Administration - Manage the risk of each project by ensuring compliance with the prime contract, subcontracts and supply agreements.
  • Financial Managementย - Manage all financial aspects of the project including establishing and monitoring the budget and ensuring positive cash flow on the project.
  • Project Performance - Responsible for overall project performance includingย budget, quality, schedule, safety, team management, closeout & warranty.
  • People Development/Team Relationsย -ย Serve as the team leader for projects, effectively utilizing various skill sets and providing coaching and feedback to team members.ย 

You are qualified if:

  • You have a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (required). Construction Management or Engineering degree preferred.ย 
  • You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction industry (required). Previous experience as a Superintendent is preferred.
  • You possess a thorough workingย knowledge of wood frame and concrete multi-family and commercial construction as related to all phases of construction.ย ย 
  • You have the ability to manage a wide range of small and large construction projects with the ability to manage projects in an occupied environment.
  • You have a proven record of accomplishment in all phases of constructionย project management, including estimating, documentation, owner/architect relations, cost monitoring, problem solving and project wrap-up.
  • You are efficient,ย organized, capable of effective multi-tasking and a positive-minded team player.ย ย 
  • You possess businessย management acumen and strong leadership, organizationalย and time management skills, as well as strong communication andย client service skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs including: Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, & project management systems such as ViewPoint & AutoDesk.

Salary range is $123,060 to $150,000 annually.
