Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Project Management Analyst to join our team. The Project Management Analyst is responsible for project governance, planning, reporting, risk tracking, issue management, stakeholder communications, and financial oversight while supporting enterprise initiatives that impact mortgage origination and servicing, secondary marketing, accounting, liquidity management, enterprise risk management, and legal and regulatory compliance.
What you'll be doing
Project Management & Governance
  • Supporting planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects impacting Corporate Risk and Finance.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Facilitating project governance processes and stage-gate reviews.
  • Coordinating project meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder updates.
  • Tracking project deliverables and ensuring accountability among team members.
  • Maintaining project documentation, decision logs, and action-item registers.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Creating executive-level project dashboards and status reports.
  • Developing KPIs and project performance metrics.
  • Producing presentations for senior leadership and governance committees.
  • Analyzing project data and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Maintaining portfolio reporting across Risk and Finance initiatives.

Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborating with cross-functional business and technology teams.
  • Facilitating requirements gathering sessions.
  • Preparing meeting materials and executive communications.
  • Escalating risks and issues appropriately.
  • Supporting change management and user adoption efforts.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Project Management, Economics, Information Systems, or related field required
  • 3-5 years of project coordination, project management, business analysis, risk management, finance, or mortgage industry experience
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives
  • Understanding of mortgage lending, servicing, secondary marketing, or financial operations preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication - professional, clear, and adaptable in tone
  • A proactive mindset: you spot problems before they happen and solve them without being asked
  • Comfort with digital tools and the ability to pick up new platforms quickly
  • A genuine team-player attitude and enthusiasm for supporting others' success
  • Ability to work with all levels and varying positions of staff
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
