As a Project Management Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting Fabrication Operations by leading the onboarding of new statements of work and managing critical work-transfer initiatives. You'll collaborate with engineering, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and leadership teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, risks are mitigated, and operational objectives are achieved.

This is an opportunity to influence manufacturing strategy, improve processes, and help drive aerospace production excellence.


What You'll DoProject Leadership & Execution
  • Lead the onboarding and integration of new statements of work into manufacturing operations.
  • Manage permanent and emergent work movement activities across fabrication programs.
  • Coordinate project plans, timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor project performance, milestones, and deliverables while keeping stakeholders informed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Quality, Manufacturing, and other support teams.
  • Facilitate communication across multiple departments to ensure project alignment and execution.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strategic Analysis & Business Planning
  • Develop business cases and perform return-on-investment (ROI) analyses to support operational decisions.
  • Evaluate project opportunities and recommend solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution efforts.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks.
  • Develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance project management effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Support the development and implementation of program management best practices.

Required QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and typically 6+ years of related experience, or
  • Master's degree and typically 4+ years of related experience, or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills
  • 5-10 years of project management experience
  • Experience working within manufacturing or production environments
  • Strong understanding of production lifecycle processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft business applications and systems
  • Experience leading process improvement and efficiency initiatives

Pay Details: $54.93 per hour
