Job description

The Tanner Health Foundation intern will work closely with the Foundation staff on several projects, which will train the student to multitask and sharpen their internal/external communication, critical thinking, and project management skills. Projects could include but are not limited to drafting of donor gift press releases and or spotlights, updating constituent records with the Raiser Edge database, assisting with special events, expediting direct mailings, distributing communication materials and other duties as needed. The Tanner Health Foundation intern is part of a highly motivated team that promotes Tanner Health, community wellness, engagement events for the benefit of donors and the regional community and seeks to inspire philanthropic support. Work may be at a variety of locations throughout the service area as needed. Assist as needed with general office operations.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: No prior work experience required

Currently pursuing or recently completed undergraduate or masters degree

Candidates must hold a minimum of 3.0 GPA. be currently pursing or have recently completed an undergraduate or masters degree program with a concentration in business, non-profit management, political science public administration, public health, marketing, public relations, or communications.

Assist with office operations as needed in the areas of data and gift entry, donor stewardship, and necessary administrative functions.
