Project Coordinator – Support Field Operations & Keep Commercial Projects on Track


Job Overview

  • Company: LB Contract Supply.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $60,000 - $70,000+ based on experience.
  • Location: In person (Madison, WI), Primarily office work with some job site visits.
  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday.

The Opportunity

You will serve as an essential operational anchor in our Project Management division, driving the coordination and execution of commercial interior and specialty supply projects. This position puts you at the nexus of office strategy and field execution—working closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Field Crews to ensure projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Coordinate project workflows from contract award through final closeout, tracking deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Facilitate administrative processes, including logging RFIs, submittals, change orders, and job site safety compliance documentation.
  • Communicate with General Contractors, vendors, and field teams to keep project schedules aligned and resolve daily operational hurdles.
  • Assist in ordering, tracking, and staging materials and window treatments to ensure site readiness for installation crews.
  • Organize digital job files, updated blueprints, and specification documents to maintain precise project archives.
  • Schedule field crews and track job site progress to support timely billing cycles and labor resource planning.
  • Monitor job costs and assist Project Managers with tracking budget variances and material lead times.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in construction coordination, administrative project support, or a related operational field.
  • High level of digital literacy, with proficiency in project management tools, spreadsheeting software, and office tech.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a clear, direct, and professional approach across written and verbal formats.
  • Outstanding organizational ability with a track record of handling multiple fast-moving tasks without losing detail.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and eagerness to grow within a fast-moving construction supply company.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience with commercial interior finishes, window coverings, glass, or specialty subcontracting.
