Digital & Analytics Intern
Department: Digital Marketing & Analytics
Location: Corporate Office (In-Office)
Internship Length: 10 Weeks | June 8, 2026 - August 14, 2026
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, In-Office
Position Overview
The Digital & Analytics Intern will support the Digital team by analyzing customer behavior, digital performance, and market trends across Five Guys' digital platforms. This role focuses on transforming marketing, CRM, and promotional campaign data-including Limited Time Offer (LTO) performance-into actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.
Through hands-on projects and cross-functional collaboration, the intern will assist with customer journey analysis, competitive and market research, KPI tracking, and reporting, while leveraging analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve data accuracy and efficiency. Insights developed in this role will help optimize digital marketing strategies and inform Five Guys' executive leadership team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Analyze the customer journey across Five Guys' digital platforms (website, app, and digital campaigns) to identify engagement patterns, conversion points, and opportunities to improve marketing and product performance, including LTO analysis
  • Conduct competitive research and market analysis to evaluate industry trends, competitor digital strategies, and emerging best practices, translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Collect and analyze marketing, CRM, and campaign performance data to identify customer behavior trends and measure campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Track and monitor key digital marketing KPIs, comparing performance against established goals and benchmarks to support continuous optimization
  • Maintain accurate data documentation, reports, and dashboards to ensure data integrity, standardization, and accessibility across teams
  • Prepare clear reports and presentations summarizing insights and recommendations for leadership and key stakeholders
General Intern Program Responsibilities
  • Complete a capstone project focused on the assigned discipline and present findings to stakeholders during the final week of the program
  • Perform additional data analysis and related tasks as assigned
Computer & Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Knowledge and practical application of Microsoft Copilot API
  • Foundational understanding of Power BI
  • Familiarity with website analytics and digital performance metrics
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and group communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, create, and interpret business memos, reports, and documentation
  • Comfortable working with data, analytics tools, and cross-functional teams
