Job description

Location: Charlottesville, VA
Pay: $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, temporary project
Start Date: ASAP


We are hiring experienced Punch/Turn Technicians to assist a student-housing apartment community in Charlottesville with preparing vacant apartments for upcoming move-ins. This is an immediate project with consistent hours available through August.


Responsibilities:

  • Complete punch-list and make-ready work in vacant apartments
  • Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs
  • Replace fixtures, hardware, blinds, filters, and other unit items
  • Complete caulking, patching, touch-ups, and general repairs
  • Prepare apartments for painting and cleaning vendors
  • Assist with other maintenance and property projects as needed


Qualifications:

  • Apartment maintenance, punch, turn, handyman, remodeling, or construction experience
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record
  • Personal tools are preferred
